The smaller digicams are really noisy and the shadow detail in most of them
is pretty bad. Also, contrast suffers because of the crummy shadow detail.
Copy the bg layer and then run the image you have posted throught CS
shadow/hilite with the attached settings. Run NI at a little above a default
setting. Change the layer blend to darken. Select the bg layer and run
shadow/hilite with the same settings. See what you get.
